Guardian Redeemed

Congratulations to “Michelle W.”, the winner of P.A.’s giveaway. Thank you to all who participated!

Heaven Mistrusts Him. Demons Fear Him.
Only One Woman Will Love Him.
Kaiden held up a hand. “Before we dive into the details surrounding the house, we’d like to know a little more about you first to help the team protect you.” It was a yarn of bollucks, but Kaiden didn’t want her to get the upper hand on the interview . . . again.
Randi narrowed her eyes. “What else would you like to know? You already saw my bra size and brand of toothpaste when you knocked me unconscious and riffled through my things.”
Kaiden clenched his teeth. “I didn’t riffle through your things. I opened the drawers and dumped the contents into the bag.”
“Oh, yeah? So why are my undergarments mismatched? Seems to me if you dumped the drawer over, I’d have every pair I own, but I don’t. So you had to have handled my panties and bras in order to pack.”
“Do you really want to have a conversation about your underwear right now?” Kaiden lifted an eyebrow.
“I know I’m interested.” Salem waved his hand. “Exactly which colors didn’t he get right?”
Kaiden shot him a ‘shut-it’ look.
“You’re right, I don’t,” Randi fired back at Kaiden, ignoring Salem. “Let’s talk about your sending me into a coma instead.”
“What’s to talk about? I gave you two choices. You could’ve packed your own bag and walked out the door beside me, but you didn’t. Instead, you chose the other option.”
Randi’s cheeks bore two bright red patches and her emerald eyes flashed. “What about the third option? Not going anywhere with you at all? I opted for that one, you Neanderthal!
Short Novel Summary:
Kaiden, a Heavenly Security Guardian, is tasked with stopping Zarok, a demon bent on revenge after his release from hell, while protecting Miranda, a wounded human soldier caught in between. But when Zarok targets Randi as his next victim, is his willingness to break every rule enough to save her in time?
I can’t tell you how much I loved writing about Kaiden. When I completed the first draft, it came in at a whooping 138K words! Needless to say, a lot of sweat, tears and chocolate went into cutting his story down to a more manageable 102K words.
Guardian Redeemed is available on Kindle and paperback. I’m excited to share my heavenly Guardians with you and believe you will find them just as exciting as I do.

  11. Demons, Guardians and Humans…. and a guardian not concerned with the niceties of not knocking his human out at that… what more could a book need? I look forward to reading it, if for no other reason than to see if poor Miranda gets her underwear back. ; )
